Complaints about Vista: Legit or not legit?

I'm sure you've heard horrible things about Vista, such as:
1. "It crashes every day!"
-Most of the driver incompatibility bugs caused by lazy hardware manufacturers have been fixed over time, and with the release of Vista SP1, the operating system has been very stable.
2. "M$ Windowz gets blue screen of DEATH every time!11!"
-This complaint comes exclusively from Mac fanboys (or the occasional Linux fanboy)
3. "It uses way too much RAM!"
-Vista uses a system called superfetch where it loads frequently used programs and files into ram to be able to access them more quickly. If you need the RAM, though, Vista will give it up. It shouldn't really be a problem, though, because RAM is so cheap now, there's hardly any excuse not to have at least 2 GB.
4. "Why is it so slow on my computer from 2002?"
-Vista doesn't even attempt to be able to work on those older computers, because it's specially designed to work better on newer, more powerful hardware. If you really want to have a current operating system that
5. "It has annoying pop-ups that ask me if I really, actually want to do something every time I try to do the simplest thing."
-That feature is called User Account Control (UAC), and it's there to protect you from having a program execute or system setting change without your knowledge/permission. It can easily be turned off.
6. "It's so confusing!"
-With any new operating system come UI changes, and it can be confusing at first. However, after spending enough time with the operating system, it's actually pretty similar to the way that Windows has worked for over 10 years.
7. "My friend said it was bad."
-The media and others have a preconcieved notion of the operating system, but it actually is not that bad. See the Mojave Experiment for details.

EDIT (10/22/09): Windows 7 is out! There is no longer any need to defend Vista from malicious attacks on its character.

Spelling

I grow tired of people constantly misspelling words, such as:

lose (loose)

desktop (dest top)?

laptop (lab top)

their (there)

And that's just naming a very few. I know I'm also capable of misspelling words, but some of the words I see misspelled aren't even a correct spelling of some word that would cause the mistake to be overlooked by spell check. EDIT: Too many people are calling the iPod Touch an iTouch. Hopefully when Apple releases a tablet called the iTouch, people will see the error of their ways.
